Food & Drinks
Q: What will be served for dinner?
A: Buffet! You will not be hungry. We’ll have canapés at the cocktail reception, and a buffet.
Q: Are dietary restrictions accommodated?
A: Of course! Let us know.
Q: Will there be an open bar or cash bar?
A: Come thirsty! The cocktail hour is an open bar. At dinner, you’ll have wine at the tables and a drink ticket for one more of your choice.
Gifts & Registry
Q: Where are you registered?
A: Your presence is the best present -but since many of you have asked, here’s the scoop. We’re skipping the traditional registry (we already have enough mismatched mugs to last a lifetime). Instead, we’re pouring every contribution into the things that actually matter to us: our honeymoon, some new furniture, and the adventures waiting on the other side of “I do.”
If you’d like to give, here’s how:
Whether it’s enough for a dinner on our honeymoon or a down payment on our future, we’ll think of you every time we enjoy it.
Thank you for your kindness, your love, and for helping us start this next chapter in style. 🥂
Kids & Plus-Ones
Q: Are kids welcome?
A: We love your little ones! While we are keeping our guest list limited, children specifically included on your invitation are welcome. Otherwise, we kindly ask that this be an adult evening.
Q: Can I bring a guest/plus-one?
A: Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.
Photography & Social Media
Q: Is it an “unplugged” ceremony (no phones/pictures during)?
A: During the ceremony, we ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away so our photographer can capture the moment. Once the reception begins, snap away to your heart’s content!
Q: Is there a wedding hashtag for sharing photos?
A: TBA
Party Details
Q: Will there be dancing?
A: Yes! Once the music starts, consider the dance floor open. Fair warning: the bride will be out there all night long!
Q: What time will the reception end?
A: Midnight
Practical Info
Q: What’s the RSVP deadline?
A: June 10th, 2026
Q: Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes
Special/Personal Touches
Q: Is there a dinner planned the night before the wedding?
A: Yes! Join us at Jack’s Grill — a casual spot in the Bear Mountain Resort community — at 5:00pm on Friday evening.
📍 2020 Country Club Way, Victoria, BC V9B 6R3
Paul and Elizabeth are delighted to host dinner and a few drinks to welcome our friends and family to the celebration. We can’t wait to kick things off with you!
Q: Will there be a welcome party or brunch the next day?
A: A: The morning after, we’ll be gathering for a no-host brunch at 10:00am at Callisto, the hotel’s restaurant. If you’d like to join us, let us know and we’ll make sure to include you in the reservation.
